Mission and Vision
Mission
SEAD’s mission is to develop structuring actions for the institutionalization and regulation of Distance Learning at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), as well as to provide conditions for the implementation of distance courses and diverse projects.
To this end, it is committed to the use of innovative information and communication technologies that ensure quality at all stages of planning, implementation, promotion, and execution of these activities.
Vision
To become an active, innovative, and plural office, recognized for expanding access to high-quality distance education through the effective use of technologies.
